1964年、兵庫県西宮市生まれ。大学時代に道院で修行した少林寺拳法を通じて仏教の教えと再会し「良く生きるためには正しく自己を整える」ことが必要と実感。核医学を用いた機能画像の技術を用いて健康に生きるための自己の整え方をライフワークとして研究。好きな言葉は自灯明法灯明。

経歴

1990年京都大学卒。京大病院、関西電力病院での臨床研修終了後は京都大学大学院でPETや核医学の機能画像診断に従事し 1998年に博士号を取得、その後はフンボルト財団研究員としてミュンヘン工科大に招聘され心臓PETの臨床研究に従事。2000年にUCLAにポスドク採用されPETを用いた機能画像解析研究を続ける傍ら米国医師免許ECFMG取得。2004年から 松本市の相澤病院にて救急医学のトレーニングを行い、2007年からワシントン大学(シアトル)にて核医学臨床研修。チーフレジデント。米国核医学専門医資格を取得し2009年から北大特任講師、特任准教授として核医学機能画像診断の研究や教育に従事。2015年にLSI札幌クリニックに移りFDG-PETを用いた癌検診だけではなく、核医学を用いた機能画像診断技術を心疾患や成人病、認知症の予防に応用する検診プログラムを開発。2021年から浜松光医学財団。機能画像的なアプローチから健康指導を行う。
